Munduk Moding Plantation presently offers a unit of two sky suites, located on the second floor of the main building, overlooking the swimming pool and the Bali sea. The sky suites are an excellent option for a family or a group of up to six friends since they come with a huge private terrace with panoramic views of the hills and the Bali sea The basic materials are the same as in the villas : hardwood merbau floors and sulawesi cream marble in the bathroom. The sky suites also boast a hand polished terrazzo bathtub. Both are en-suite. The first sky suite has a surface of some 25m² and has twin beds, handcrafted local furniture and designs made from local materials as well as tropical hard wood. The second sky suite is similar to the first but, in addition, offers a sizeable study room with a reading and TV watching area. This second room can be closed by sliding doors and transformed in a second bedroom.
From November 2013 onwards, the two bedroom Family Sky Suites will be transformed into multipurpose building. We are doing this to further improve the comfort of our guests. On completion, the new facility will allow your guests to read a book or magazine in a separate library, exercise in a small custom-built gym (e.g. by playing table-tennis, or working out using the brand new gym equipment) or chill out in a large lounge area. The terrace on the first floor will also be available for all our guests to take in the view – as you know, this is one of the best views on the whole plantation. To substitute the FSS, from April 2014 onwards, Munduk Moding Plantation will be offering a two bedroom coffee villa (TBCV), located in a private building surrounded by mature Arabica coffee trees, overlooking the rolling hills and the Bali sea. It is set aside from the other villas and is located halfway between the main pool and the vegetable garden. The coffee villa is an excellent option for a family or a group of up to seven friends since it consists of two large suites and an expansive private terrace at the top floor with panoramic views of the hills and the Bali sea. The basic materials used in the coffee villa are the same as in the other villas: hardwood merbau floors and sulawesi cream marble in the bathroom. Both suites in the coffee villa boast local artworks, a sitting area as well as a hand polished terrazzo bathtub, a rain shower and an outdoor shower (ground floor). Both bedrooms are en-suite.
The first suite, located on the ground floor has a surface of some 60m² with twin beds, a sitting area, handcrafted local furniture and designs made from local materials as well as tropical hard wood. It is large enough to easily accommodate another two beds, which can be screened off through draperies and curtains. The second suite (a double) is located on the top floor and is similar to the first in terms of design and layout with about 45 square meters of floor space. It offers a 15 square meters private terrace with a great view of the surroundings. Both suites are connected through an external staircase.
The two bedroom coffee villa offers more space, greater luxury and a lot more privacy than the FSS and will, therefore, be priced slightly higher.
