Plastic Recycling Center and Waste Bank

An important initiative from MMP’s sustainability department is the Plastic Recycling Center and Waste Bank. MMP is collecting plastic waste from its hotel and from local communities and brings it to its Waste Bank. Payments are made in kind through free English and dance classes as well as financially. This waste is processed in our Plastic Recycling Center to make new products from the recycled plastic as well as works of art. The final products are diverse and useful for the hotel and guests, including wardrobe hangers,  directional signs and keychains. Artists use the material to create works of art. Our plastic recycling process allows us to give a second life to plastic waste, cleaning up the environment around us, and creating a circular flow that keeps plastic out of nature.
